Our second annual Big Write competition was a fantastic success! We were honoured to have Mr Paul Leeson, Senior Leader of School Performance and Progress, as our guest judge and presenter of awards to the winners and runners-up from Prep to Year 5.

This year, it was particularly pleasing to see students using descriptive and emotive language to draw readers into their stories. The theme for this year’s competition was “Magic Happens,” and students were challenged to write an imaginative story of no more than 500 words.

​​Finalists from each year level were carefully selected and presented to the judges, who had the difficult task of choosing the winners. Congratulations to all our talented young writers!
