Due to predicted extreme temperatures, Cross Country will
now be held this term in Week 9, Friday 24th March for all
year levels. District Trials will be held on the 26th April
2023 at Emmaus College. Nominations for District Trials
are based on times achieved at our school Cross Country –
The top 6 10 (2013), 11 (2012) and 12 (2011) year olds
will be selected for district trials. Students will need to
have sunscreen, cold water and a hat on the day.
The timetable for Cross Country is as follows (rough guide
only):
9:00am – Girls and boys born 2011/2010 (2.5km)
9:15am – Girls and boys born 2012 (2.5km)
9:30am – Girls and boys born 2013 (2km)
9:45am – Girls and boys born 2014 (2km)
10:00am – Girls and boys born 2015 (1km)
10:10am – Girls and boys born 2016 (1km)
10:20am – Girls and boys born 2017 (1km)
10:30am – Prep (1 modified lap)
Cross country training
Last training session next Wednesday, 22nd March 7:50am
– 8:15am. Any students interested in training need to
make sure they bring a hat, plenty of water and a spare
change of clothes (if needed).
