Welcome Back for Term 4

While we are only three days into the Term, there has been much to celebrate both in and outside of school. On Tuesday, I attended meetings at Springwood in our BCE offices and I was very proud of our Year 3 art pieces on display. Congratulations to our Year 3 students and teachers in being selected to publicly represent the wonderful learning they are completing in
class. There were numerous positive comments coming their way.

Jordan and our Year 2 students were both excited and honoured to receive this incredible indigenous art piece from Uncle Derek. As part of the Year 2 curriculum, they have been connecting strongly with the Mununjali Community and we are humbled to receive such a special gift. This will sit proudly in the Year 2 classroom for the remainder of the year, then we will mount this in the library for all to see in 2019. Thank you Uncle Derek!

Last Term our Year 6 students were busy getting their creativity into action to enter some amazing work – a diorama, short film into the National History Challenge. During the holidays, we were very excited to hear that they had made it through to the national judging process. Thank you to Michelle and Paula for helping the children to achieve great things.
