One of our major initiatives for this year is to participate in a Brisbane Catholic Education
research project that will help us identify and strengthen our identity as a Catholic School in
contemporary times.
The project is called The Catholic Dialogue Schools Project and it is run in conjunction
with the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, who will be facilitating the process on our
behalf. A key part of research is to have authentic data from various groups and a way to
collect this is through surveys. All of our staff and our Year 5 and 6 students will complete
surveys over the coming weeks and a critical component is for you, our parents and
caregivers, to participate in the surveys as well. It does not matter what your religious
background is or knowledge of religion. The surveys are completely anonymous and will
give us some great insight into our community to help us plan for the years ahead. We really
need your help with this.
