Our Year 5 students and staff are having a wonderful time on camp. On Tuesday morning, as the groups were walking around the Burleigh Headlands National Park ocean view walk, they were in awe as they witnessed migrating whales just off the coastline. The groups watched for some ten minutes or so and the experience was breathtaking. The rest of the day was filled with leadership activities such as raft building, some successful and others not so, needless to say this created a lot of problem solving conversations. There was a great deal of enjoyment, hands on learning and new experiences with friends. Can we take this opportunity to thank our staff who took precious time away from their own homes to care, support and encourage the Year 5 students.
